Parental Billing Secondary School

Before signing up for lessons, you must speak to your school teacher, or the head of music first. They will be able to tell you what instrumental lessons are available at your school.

At the following secondary schools, we charge parents directly for their child's music lessons:

  • Wolfreton Secondary School
  • Cottingham High School

How Much Do Lessons Cost?

Please see below for prices for the academic year 2025-26

Invoices will be emailed each term requesting payment.

You have a choice of either an individual or shared lesson (please note we cannot always offer pupils their first choice):
A 20 minute individual lesson is £132.00 per term
A 20 minute shared lesson is £66.00 per term

If you attend Swanland Primary, you can also choose a longer lesson:

A 40 minute individual lesson is £264.00 per term
A 40 minute shared lesson is £132.00 per term

Your child’s instrumental teacher may recommend that your child would benefit from a longer lesson (or for pupils in Year 5 or Year 6).

If your child is entitled to free school meals, due to receipt of one of the qualifying benefits, the cost of lessons may be covered by the school and the cost to hire an instrument is covered by the Music Service.

Once you complete the form below you will be signed up and ready to start your instrumental lessons. You will also be given log in credentials to our Eepos system:
